Synectics is a global leader in the design, integration and support of advanced security and surveillance systems that allow clients around the world to protect their people, communities and assets. With over thirty years of history, their deep industry experience across a diverse array of sectors is underpinned by their ‘command and control’ software platform that empowers management through networked video intelligence. Synectics were interested in developing a new, up-to-date website that would position them as a leading industry expert and build interest in their products, and Verto was happy to assist.
After a competitive pitch process, Verto were awarded the contract to design and develop the new Synectics websites on a detailed brief with distinct and measurable goals. They were aiming to create a modern, marketing-focused website with high-end production values; a simple, easy-to-digest user navigation process; optimised copy across all pages to maximise SEO potential; a fully responsive design, adopting best practices to improve UX; and the incorporation of dynamic and animated elements.
We delivered the Synectics website with all project deliverables fulfilled, creating a seamless responsive experience for users across the globe that is easy to navigate and highlights the sectors and successes that have defined the client’s storied history. In addition, the website integrates a number of third-party systems, such as MailChimp and Salesforce, and integrated form-building features allowing Synectics to take full control of their digital marketing efforts.
During the design phase, we also focused on crafting a professional, clean brand identity for Synectics that would carry across to their printed brochures, exhibition graphics, and more. The colour scheme features a predominant use of black text punctuated with splashes of red. The dynamic interplay between these colours keeps Synectics’ visual impact engaging and impactful, aligning with their serious commitment to advanced security systems.
In updating Synectics’ web copy, we aimed to represent the company with punchy, memorable statements that leave a strong impression with the reader, whether they are current or potential clients, prospective job applicants, or shareholders. The design of the website allowed us to present this information in a fluid, digestible manner, and also allowed us to write and optimise FAQs that help introduce new users to the company in a friendly and concise way.
