Infinis is one of the UK’s leading low carbon energy providers, capturing methane from landfill sites and mines across the UK and using it to generate electricity. Infinis also provides solar power and energy storage solutions. As a long-term customer, Infinis turned to Verto to redevelop their company website, in addition to generating dedicated media to use across all media platforms.
Infinis needed a new website that worked harder, faster and smarter than its predecessor. In order to gain an understanding of Infinis’ requirement, Verto first entered into a detailed and thorough discovery phase, looking at aspects such as user personas, users journeys, competitor analysis and content mapping.
Following the extensive discovery phase, and taking into consideration UX and architectural research, Verto created a brand-new interface design for the Infinis website, focusing on ease of use, information flow and data capture, whilst simultaneously making sure that the Infinis brand was consistently represented.
Alongside the new website, Verto also produced several dedicated animation sequences. Each sequence provides a walk-through of a specific Infinis service offering, such as methane capture, battery backup or solar energy provision. The animations are used as embedded content within the Infinis website but can also be used as standalone content for use across social media platforms.
Verto continues to work with Infinis to refine their visual brand; so far, Verto has provided design input on a range of media, from the Infinis annual report, through to social media graphics and consultation materials.
